I had debated with myself whether or not to bother travelling to Metal Cave, since it looked like it was a fair way out of town on the map (7 km from where I was staying), but it looked like the only place that was open on a Tuesday evening. In the end I thought I might as well make full use of the limited time I had left in Warsaw, and I was impressed with the very positive reviews I saw along with how the owner was friendly. So after I had tea at a nearby cheap vegetarian restaurant, I got the metro out to Metal Cave, and I was glad I did, as the manager was indeed very friendly, and we chatted over the course of three beers, chatting about how good (and cheap!) beer is in Poland, who both our governments did too little to help businesses during lockdown, and how Perła is one of the best Polish beers out there (whilst Zubr is actually considered one of the cheap and nasty ones). All in all it was great to actually have a chat with someone and he seemed grateful for the chat too, since I was the only customer that evening, but then it was only Tuesday. The music was as good as you would expect as well, along with the general vibe, and they do many live gigs at the weekends. I may have stayed longer if it wasn’t for an early start for the 06:15 train tomorrow to the first European city I fell in love with, Berlin. However I do intend to return to Warsaw and to this place at some point in the future.
(Note: due to enjoying having a conversation with the owner, I didn’t end up taking any pictures of the place due to being distracted and not wanting to raise any awkward questions. Therefore all these images come from the bar’s own Facebook page.)

One final word of advice – this place is cash only, so consider making sure you have plenty on you before you leave central Warsaw, since the nearest machine to this place is one of those Euronet ones which will rip you off.
